The Sacramento kings broke the record a few days ago for the loudest arena.

Does anyone know where the game was at on that scale. Probably not real close but I would think it would be semi comparable.

It shouldn't count as it was done with the Guinness people there.

I actually didn't think it was at peak volume Sunday. Wasn't on the level of some of the major conference match ups recently or back in the day. Don't get me wrong it was loud, but I don't think it was approaching max Hilton levels.

I think it's just the acoustics at Hilton. It has nothing to do with the fans.

Somebody needs to put a giant decibel meter in the place.

the "noise meters" at games are always so obviously fake I would love to see a real one.

There has to be some engineers on here.....would this really be that difficult or costly to do?

The Hearnes Center at Mizzou still has one in the far left corner above the tunnel. It was installed in the early 90s, IIRC. I remember it dancing around 100-103 a lot during games vs. ISU.
