It's dicey. Just fought off a hobo who was trying to steal my boys shoes. Who knew you could make a shiv out of a chicken bone. Worked and he is light one kidney! 7 hours to go!!!
Okay, I'm sitting here in Urbandale waiting for this game with nothing to do for the next 7 hours (I don't have tickets and I don't have to work today). Anyone in that line want something? Name it (within reason) and I'll bring it (help me to burn time)!
Wolverine68, I am not technically in line, but I could meet you near the line if you could bring something up from Ankeny for me. Go the Target in Ankeny, go to the back and ask for James. Tell him you know Little Sam and that you are there for the package. He will give you the package. Do not...I repeat...do NOT look in the package or open in it anyway. Sound good?

Yes, Wolverine, this is what I have been waiting for. I'm a little dirty from said hobo engagement (see earlier post), so I would be forever in your debt if you could bring, (1) can of sterno, (2) some gauze pads, (3) LOTS of clorox bleach wipes, (4) a rotisserie chicken from HyVee, (5) some plastic tarps, (6) and a spare tire iron in case this dude comes back. Also, if you could crank me out a solid alibi as well in case this guy makes it to Mary Greeley and the doctors start asking questions. I'm the guy in the old el dorado, license plates CY4KNIFE.

I'd say the solid crew of hard core fans is pretty much me and my boy 8-ball larry--aka the dude the hobo tried to shoe jack. Other than that there is probably 100 or so posers, no real deal dip punters.
Hey, npods, you think the crowd would be up for seeing some of my dance moves? I've had troubles with hobos in the past. They are ALWAYS up to no good! What kind of shoes was 8-ball Larry wearing? I was going to head up there wearing my jazz dancing shoes, but I don't want them to get took!
Hfthomp2, you stay out of Ames, you hear? Remember what happened the last time we were in the same city? Long story short to the rest of you, we met at Merle Hay mall, we dance fought, hobo's were slashed, dips were punted, and faces were rocked. Needless to say, we are now banned from the mall, and the world has 75 new dance moves and about 8 less hobos. Ames isn't ready for that level of action, not now, not ever. STAY OUT OF AMES!!!!
