I don't know what's worse, the few people that are actually freaking out after a loss, or the people who try to act like they are calming an entire fan base, even though it's only a few freaking out. We need a new site, CycloneExtremists.com where all these fools can go and freak out and calm each other down.
Yes, second lose but we now are below .500 in conference play. That's what I care about. I don't really give a damn about our overall record. I want the Big 12
Gotta get these guys' eyes checked....most of those threes barely hit rim. That has got to change!
Agree. We lost by 7 but we were within just a couple plays against a very good team after playing very poorly and not having a lot of luck. We are an excellent team. Better now than later in the year. This is and will continue to be a great year. The team is being tested after riding really high this year... They will prevail mentally and be better for it come tourney time. All is good right now with MBB at ISU!
Bad shooting night. Make some more threes, and this game has a positive outcome. Even so, I'm sure the KU defense had a lot to do with ISU's poor shooting tonight. One thing though, the 'Clones never gave up; just couldn't get over the top.
Defensively, it sounds like our players need to work on getting position on the opponent, then turn defense to offense. ISU couldn't get into the break consistently due to allowing too many offensive rebounds; plus letting their big men close to the basket too often.
ISU got to the line, but below average on free throws.
ISU played hard, just not efficiently.
Got five days to "right the ship." Go beat the 'Horns!

I'll freak out if I want to freak out. Second game in a row that we were never really in. Second game in a row we looked like garbage. We are at best 4-5 to start the conference season after going 14-0. We've played awful in every conference game but the Baylor one. I really don't see how we shouldn't be upset right now.
