After player introductions on Saturday, the announcer adds "And introducing our newest Cyclone" just as Cy pulls off his head to reveal Vaughn. Little kids, normally horrified by such a sight, storm the court in celebration.

That 247 site is a joke. They can switch teams 10 times, and as long as they guess it right at the end they keep their good track record.

There's a point system. First person to pick a team gets a better score if it is correct. Pick the wrong team and you get nothing. So if you were wrong and you find out right before they pick you will switch your pick and get 1 point or something instead of 0. Whereas the guy who picks correctly from this fall might get 20 points or whatever their scale is.

I don't see how he is not picking ISU with no visit to KU, UK or UNC annUNLV stinking it up. ISU having an amazing year. This could be F'ing huge for Fred and the program in advancing the program. I don't want to get my hopes up too high but it's lookin really good.

thinking RV would commit before or after the game, not during. Who is going to be around to answer that phone call - the AD weekend janitor?

I feel like a "commit" in today's world is a public announcement of where you're going, not necessarily the actual phone call to the coach. RV's "commit" could easily be a tweet at any time on Saturday, followed up with a call to Fred later that day. Or vice versa - he could call in the morning, and then announce publicly during the game.

They did add a point system which devalues the pick if you switch it or choose it right before the announcement.

Couldn't hurt to have Long who's been struggling get a green light from Fred and then hit one to tie it. Total players coach. Trust in each guy on the floor without fail. It's gotta be us doesn't it?
