The media these days love to feign objectivity when the reality is they have biases and those biases affect their reporting. They deserves some criticism for the way they harassed Allen Lazard about his commitment. Rhoads called them out for it, and now they act likely they are above criticism.
I have absolutely no problem with what he said to the media. I personally agree that it was warranted. They spend plenty of their time criticizing coaches and their programs, so they better toughen up to the reality that they aren't above criticism.
