Do you think that if he goes to UNLV it means he doesn't really care about winning or he wants to avoid pressure?

I take it you have no idea how good of a basketball program UNLV is both historically and recently?

They've been a D1 program since 1970...

All time record of 1011-394 (.720 winning percentage) (1255-1257 at ISU)
4 Final Fours and 1 national championship in those 44 years (1 and 0 at ISU)
33-19 all time NCAA tournament record (14-15 at ISU)
Just had the #1 pick in the NBA Draft this year
Since 2006 - average record of 25-9

Plus their arena seats 4,000 more people than Hilton. UNLV is a big time basketball program. They have more basketball history than ISU and most schools in the country despite only being D1 since 1970.

RV can shoot 25 times a game at UNLV, he cant do that here. not blaming the kid, he will have the ball in his hands more. we wouldn’t have to rely on him as much as UNLV, thats what he wants and theres no shame in that.

Agreed. It's sad really. To be clear, I highly doubt Vaughn spends even a minute on cyfanatic or any other forum. I have heard more promising things than the doom and gloom crowd but nothing that makes me feel confident. Best to jus assume he goes elsewhere but hope he comes here.Like I said, the quality players Fred brings in will make this team competitive and exciting so I'm not worried.

I'd put down some money that he's seen this thread.

Ejim's game was another reason why it would be fun to play in Hoibergs system. Puts down 48 and 18? He was a highlight reel on ESPN! Tell me his interview wasn't a positive for recruiting??

If Vaughn doesn't pick ISU, oh well...because other recruits will seize the opportunity.

I love guys like Melvin Ejim. Works his *** off and it pays dividends. Retire the guys number already.

If you are Vaughn or any other recruit and can't see what CFH does to make his players the best they can be then you are blind and can't be helped.

Glad to have Melvin's performance today to remind me that Vaughn is the one who is lucky to have the opportunity to play for ISU and Fred, not the other way around. If he misses out on that it's his loss.
