So if we keep WVU under 110 points, is that a moral victory?
I just don't get how you can get so humiliated against a mediocre team. I refuse to believe that WVU is an awesome team at 14-10 wins against K-State and Baylor aren't impressive...
I don't think I've ever critiqued CFH coaching...but it is beyond horrible that he has not switched to a zone. Beyond horrible. They have hit 11 threes in this man and we can't guard Staten one on one.
And most of the time it's the correct call. Our guards are all terrible defensively. That's why Niang and Ejim have to battle foul trouble every game. The guards don't fight through screens so we have big guys on guards they aren't fast enough to stay with. The guards get beat off the dribble easily. We're either picking up fouls or we're giving up easy buckets. Now every team knows the game plam: drive the lane. Every single time is a foul on ISU. Every single time.
Play zone when a team is shooting lights out from deep ... That is interesting.I don't think I've ever critiqued CFH coaching...but it is beyond horrible that he has not switched to a zone. Beyond horrible. They have hit 11 threes in this man and we can't guard Staten one on one.

I mean, you realize a zone will be even worse for defending their offense, right?
