To be fair some teams do get a lot better throughout the course of a season. I was impressed by them when KU played them.

This. The Cyclones are having a very off night, and WVU is playing out of their minds tonight. They are an average team, but every road game is a challenge to win. I don't see us beating them by any fewer than double digits at home.
Except for that whole being in the top 30 in the country in defensive efficiency.
It's a just a **** bomb of a game. It happens.
Better getting some freaking payback at Hilton. I'm pi ssed with this performance and the players better be as well.
Give some credit to our defense.
Maybe it is because WVU gets so little attention in Big 12 land, but they have one of the top backcourts in the Big 12 and a team full of good shooters. Btw, they also return everyone next season and add a couple typical Huggy recruits.

I wouldn't say that they are underrated... I would say that ISU laid an egg tonight. I thought that they only played badly when I'm watching!
Maybe you've missed this game and the TCU game. When you have wide open threes all night long with no perimeter defense, yes it will happen more often than not. This is not bad luck and a team shooting out of their mind. It was pathetic perimeter defense for two games in a row.
Give some credit for the way we played to WVU who clearly took us out of our game. They might be our poison.....ya never know.
