he cant do it alone and after southwell and gipson are gone he could soon be as well. Kstate will be in trouble with Weber soon enough

Foster looks like he could be the best player in the Big 12 in a year or two. K-State has had some fantastic players come through in the last 6-8 years.

The end for Weber will be swift and painful although this year is a major surprise.

Not sure I'd be so quick to think Weber won't make it at KSU. He's shared the B12 and beaten KU recently with teams that weren't exactly loaded with talent.

He (weber) can't win by himself, they lose a lot in the next two years and haven't signed a 4 star since 2010.

seriously, the most uninformed post i've read in a very long time. 4 freshmen play, 2 start - all 4-year guys. 6'11 georgetown transfer and 6'11" juco #1 coming in next year. best player on the roster, we're told, maine transfer, justin edwards, becomes eligible next season. and someone writes can't win by himself? whew!

i'd guess marvin will be at the k-state/isu game in mhk. tweet following his attendance at k-state/ku game said he had two more visits to make and would commit after that. seemed to enjoy himself monday. sat right in front of me wearing cardinal red hoodie. :wideeyed:

Who is the 6'11" juco #1 coming in? All that I see is Hurt.

I wouldn't get overly excited about Edwards but the rest are quite solid/good.

I work with an Illinois fan who liked Weber, but insists he will flame out at Kansas State.

Weber has won everywhere he went. Solid coach.. I don't think he could pull the Chicago kids while at Illinois and was his undoing.

Didn't realize this guy wasn't a Juco. Want him here without a doubt.

That really ruffled your feathers. I just looked at recruiting classes and this years stats by class and future didn't look so bright. KSU is one of the few teams I don't know much about in the conference with the players leaving after last year and all the newcomers.

He also says: The two games I’ve been to at Kansas State have been crazy, but I want a consistent atmosphere like that every night. If it’s like that every game, that’s a huge plus. (Prior to this, he talked about ISU and Seton Hall having great crowds. He also wants to stay close to home, which makes me wonder why Seton Hall is in his top 3.)

The cardinal red hoodie should tell you where his heart is, cardinal and gold baby.

Sunrise Academy is a basketball "factory" in that players come from all over, primarily to play basketball. Many of them are foreign. The following roster lists their elite team, but does not include Marvin, as he must have joined later or whatever. Any idea where he is originally from? In other words, where is "close to home"?

Truth is, their crowd was really good for that game.

True story. If he is looking for a consistently "good" crowd he won't find it at K-State. There are 2 consistently good crowds in the Big XII and those are Kansas and Iowa State.
