They're going to win the conference and the conference tournament and the NCAA tournament by just playing their deep bench. That's why they are a top 15 team and all of their marketing materials say rising. rolleyes:

You'll have to find where I said anything about MSU or kNowledge. IMO, in the minds of most of the AP voters (and my own), a team ranked in the top 15 in the country should not walk into any game and lose by 25 giving up 77 possessions. The team deservedly fell 6 spots.

Beating teams you should not lose to says differently. We played Iowa and were ranked above them after we beat them. The rankings are no longer about that game, but what you've done since then.

Don't let Iowa hate get to you. We deserved to drop a lot after that WVU game.

ISU happened to have a week when it lost to an unranked team (badly), beat an unranked team at home, while a lot of teams nearby didn't lose or picked up major wins.

Seems like a big drop from just one blowout loss to an unranked team this late in the season.

If you are that worried about Iowa, just wait until the last week of the season when Iowa loses to MSU and beats Purdue, but drops because they had a loss and a mediocre home win. ISU will likely beat BU and OSU and get a bump. The last week is always weighted more.

We have more top 25 and top 50 wins than almost every team. We're just not the best at style points this year, especially lately.

What happened to us is similar to what happened to MSU.

Does that mean you think MSU is not a top 15 team? I think they are. I don't think any one game can preclude you from being a top 15 team unless your overall SOS is horrible.

I'm not really sure why this has got your Looms so twisted up. I'm glad to see ISU didn't fall as far as I expected (and sure as **** glad I'm having a discussion with someone about what ISU's rank is instead of "why the **** did we just lose to Nebraska/sCUm/whoever again")
