I thought it looked like he said "shut up" at one point. Not shut up to Fred but maybe saying that somebody else needed to shut up. I'm not an expert lip reader, though.

Okay, watched it again, Blum's tweet seems accurate. I thought Huggins looked angry, but he looks pretty complimentary now. "That motherf***er can play. Can f***ing shoot it. [cut off]" is what I got. Possibly talking about Long?

I do too. Huggins is a great coach! I do think he was angry over something when he met Coach Hoiberg at half-court after the game. He dropped the "f" bomb that is for sure. But I couldn't read anything else from Huggins' lips.

You gotta love Huggins passion for the game. He's the same intense coach from opening tip, till the final horn sounds. He's a good one. Fred is still amazing though..

I like Huggins.

...didn't Huggins once get an OWI because he threw up all over the car door when pulled over or something?

And still go on to coach?

Again, until a Cyclone out-does Sam Mack, calling them a 'thug' just doesn't make sense.

Yeah.....we need to get to the bottom of this. What was actually said? Anyone? Maybe we'll have to wait until the people who were at the game get home....

I think he was complaining about Kane at the end. But they kept guarding and tried to steal it with 4 secs left.

They fouled Kane four times with no call once when he held onto the ball late with some great ball handling, he's allowed to thunder dunk on them with a second left if he wants to after that.

Bob Huggins is a fantastic coach. He isn't as PC as some of you dainty gentlemen would like, but I guess you'll just have to deal with it.

He isn't a thug, he's just an extremely successful guy with an intense personality - I like him a lot.

I am skeptical that is what Huggins actually said. He was angry. And by Coach Hoiberg's reaction, it didn't look like it was complimentary at all.

Blum Tweeted that he pointed to one of our players and said "that mother *#*$#@ can play!"

Weren't he and Larry drinking buddies?
