Did Mel ever get back in the game after the T? Seemed like the team played pretty well without him. Good sign for next year anyway.

Never any postgame interviews until the radio broadcast is all done. Sometimes hours.

I'm pretty sure Bob Huggins was upset with DeAndre Kane hot dogging it right at the end of the game when staten tried to steal it, I don't think Fred saw what was happening because he was walking towards Bob

I think someone else tagged it - Monte's assist to Dustin, the possession before?

Ok. Look at it this way. Look at the rest of the team besides Georges with free throws. 4-8. Ok now take out Edozie's 2 misses. (I know that is a bit of a stretch, but we'd already be in deep **** if Daniel is playing meaningful minutes in the NCAA's and being counted on to make free throws.) That makes 6-8, or 75%. Granted, small sample size. However not bad.

Yes, Georges was not great at the line. But he is generally solid (I don't have his numbers in front of me.) and I can only assume he was exhausted with all the minutes he was putting in. I wouldn't worry.

Georges tend to flounder at the FT line when tired, and he did not get a lot of breaks tonight.

He did not. Good idea in my opinion. That was a really stupid technical. Of course the team didn't end up needing him.

edit...go2guy said he did get in. I must have missed that.

Yeah, it's too bad Georges was off from the stripe, guess we'll have to settle for him being a ******* boss on the court.

He spoke angrily with the ref, and they t'd him. I figure it was probably the words that Ejim chose, but who knows. The player Dibo, got away with some elbows. I didn't see the elbow on that particular play, however Ejim was angry about something.

Weaving through players to get to the ref to smart off is what got him the T.

Can someone fill me in on how Ejim got the technical? I seemed to miss that.

committed a a foul, acted like he always does (what did I do?) and then went up to the ref to complain more. Was a pretty weak T but the way the game had been called to that point, Melvin just needed to walk away.

One of things I do miss about Larry Eustachy. He never let players jaw at refs much. He took care of that himself.
