I was in a commercial for a WDM tuxedo shop my senior year of high school (2003), but only because my older brother knew a guy who was producing the commerical. Got a free tux for prom out of the deal, though... and had at least one high school classmate see the ad and ask me if I was a model (I am the furthest thing from a model).

On CF, I made FreeLucca.com (with help from some other posters here who contributed art/text/assets), which was kind of a big deal at the time... but we saw how much that was worth in the end. About 2 months after the site debuted, long after anyone really cared about it and I stopped updating it, I got an email from Keith Murphy seeking my comment as the site admin (by real name wasn't used anywhere), but I didn't see the email until several weeks later, so I never responded to it.

I held the cables for one of the Hilton cameramen at a WNIT game in 2003/4ish and received $100. I was glad to have it.

I got my photo taken with Ellis Hobbs when he came into the student section at the 2005 Oklahoma State football game, after he'd been in the NFL for less than a year.

I was seen on the ABC national broadcast of the 2006 Nebraska football game when my roommates and I painted letters on our chests. Front row student section, about 50 degrees when the sun went down.

I guess that's probably it.

Was in a band in college played good shows at mshop, battle of the bands, toured a little, made a cd with band, hit a game winning three in high school. Have awards for salesman of the year while in the shoe biz, ran stores. It was fun, but didn't care about so called 15 min. Of fame, just livin and trying to survive.

Is that you, Al Bundy? Didn't you also score 5 TD's in one High School Game?

I was givin 10 dollas by Brian Bosworth and Jamel Holloway when I was 11 and they played at Jack Trice. I had Sideline passes and the Boz ask me to go get them some hot dogs. So I went up in the middle of the 3rd quarter and bought them hot dogs. Boz and Holloway ate them during the 3rd quarter. Now here is where my 15 minutes of fame comes in. The next day there was big controversy because they were eating hot dogs during the game and the DM Register wrote an article about it. To the depth of wondering where the hot dogs came from. They interviewed both teams coaches an ask them about the hot dogs. The interviewed players from both sides about the hot dog eating. The ISU side felt totally disrespected about it. Little did they know. Little old 11 year old Knownothing bought them for them. Boz gave me his elbow pads for doing it.

I've been in a small number of commercials and films. Some of you may have seen the commercials, but probably not the films.

I will one up you Brent, Chris Williams lives on the road behind my house.

CDub is homeless? I think I have several of these close encounters or short conversations but I don't consider those seconds of fame. I am curious by a few of the posts though. BringMagicBack seems to have the legit fame, unless he/she was joking about being Monica.

I've had so many incredible moments onstage . . . singing with Tiki Barber and Eli Manning, groping a reigning Miss America, jamming with REO Speedwagon, playing for numerous crowds over 20,000, opening for some of my all time favorites.

Having Mike Huckabee sit in? Not so much.

We had end zone seats to the last vikings game in the metrodome. We where on TV for 1 PAT and 1 field goal. So that's probably 15 seconds of fame.

I sure as hell hope not, but anyway:

Got carried off the floor in the 5th grade spelling bee after beating a girl (won the 6th grade one too)

If beating a girl = fame, then Lawrence Phillips = superfame

Seriously though, getting carried off for winning a spelling be is pretty awesome. I'd love to see a gatorade bath for the next Scripps Spelling Bee winner.

I've been quoted in ESPN The Magazine.

Had a full 1.5 seconds of just my face on screen in the 1990 PBS broadcast of the Great Circus Parade in Milwaukee. (Marching band)

Had my picture in the online version of the World-Herald holding a sign at an ISU football game that said "Nebraskans for Iowa State"

I've had other little things here and there, but not one big moment I can point to.
