I'm willing to bet if you ask Ellerman if he wants to start on Senior Day the answer would be no.

I just hope the fans are respectful. If you don't like him or disagree with him being on the team, just don't applaud. I hope the fans don't boo him. He is really good friends with many on the team, especially Ejim, and disrespecting him would just be low class IMO.

If our fans booed Palo, we'd be lower than the Hok fans. That would be a pretty crappy thing to do if you ask me.

Sorry, but stupid idea. This game is too important for a run in both tournaments for us. I'm all for honoring our seniors, but not at the expense of the team. And just because you think there are stretches where we couldn't perform any worse doesn't make that the case. We could still perform MUCH worse.

By the way, neither Booker nor Tyrus started over Mel or Georges last year on Senior Day. That would have had a greater chance of happening than what is proposed here.

This would be an appropriate time for a Dan Hawkins "this ain't intramuarls brother" clip.

The best time to let our bench seniors get their time on Senior Day is at the start of the game. Our first five minutes is unproductive even when we're playing well. Give Bubu and Tyler the spotlight of the starting announcement and put them on the floor at tip in place of Monte and Hogue. If they're a liability then replace them at the first dead ball. If they're holding their own, let them have their minutes.

tl;dr Give them their spotlight and get it out of the way early.

Maybe if this was TCU that we got to play on senior night, but it's not. Instead it's Oklahoma State who is still looking for wins in order to get off the bubble, and another win over them would help us seeding wise. I would understand playing Palo because if he wasn't suspended he would be playing anyways, but I'd rather save Ellerman for late in the game if it's out of reach for either team.

Just win. I really couldn't care less if either see the court ever again for ISU.

I could. It would be nice if ISU had a 15+ point lead in the closing minutes and could afford to take out some senior starters and insert some senior scrubs in their last game.

Well if they demonstrate this week in practice that they are one of the five best players on the team, by all means, go ahead and start them. If not, I'm sure they will be honored to be recognized for their contributions as we have always done by celebrating their efforts and their hard work.

I understand it won't happen but Bubu starting for Morris and given the assignment of sticking Smart to the first TV time out has the capability to actually help us win.

Not saying he should or shouldn't because honestly I didn't want to be that invested in the situation. I'm just saying Bubu's intensity could negatively affect Smart and possibly change the game.

Ellerman will see some garbage time and this team will play OSU out of the gym to provide that garbage time.

I was wondering about this, and what they might do with Bubu, so I went back and looked at other Senior Days under CFH, and he has not done that in the past (start all seniors) so I doubt he would start now.
