We will go on a run, and come out a with a chip on our shoulders. I'd expect us to light it up from behind the arc, and good guys win by 4.
Effort isn't the issue. Shots aren't falling and they are playing sloppy, especially the last 5 minutes.
If this was in December or January, it would be overreacting.
This is the regular season finale in March, there is no overreacting. We are not peaking at the right time, from what I can tell, that happened back in December and early January. We are in a huge slump right now and its happening at the worst time possible. With the way this team is playing right now, you might want to enjoy this game because you might only get to see them 2 more times.
The way we shot the 3 against Baylor had me holding out hope we were regaining our stroke, but it's proving to be the outlier as well are pitiful from there again today...and yet we are shooting them early and often.
I don't know why Kane chooses that same approach at the end of the clock every time as it has yet to work. No reason to wait that long to make a move.
I know we have ragged on Matt Thomas a lot on here, and I'm not wanting to start a conversation about it, but he's frustrating to me. Probably because he was hyped up so much as a shooter and hasn't lived up to it at this point. Freshman or not, he's getting plenty of shots and opportunities, I was expecting more than what we've got.
We are playing like a painfully average team at this point. Hoping for a spark in the 2nd half. I mean it is SENIOR NIGHT.

I like Monte's energy....after that...meh. This team may win today...maybe, but they will only win one more game this year somewhere. He better put all our seniors in.....
With our starters playing a lot of minutes this year, and only having a rotation of 7 for the whole year. Are we getting some tired legs. Shots just aren't falling and it seems when Ejim has been shooting 3's they are barely hitting the front of the rim.
Overreacting ? Maybe earlier in the year but not now. First part of the season we could come from behind in the 2nd half and win. Last part of the season. No way. We can't get down in the 2nd half especially against a team like OSU that has been kickn' butt lately. We'll know within the first 5 minutes of 2nd half how this game will finish. See if Fred has the ability to get these youngsters to take it up a couple notches and play with some urgency and attack these visitors trying to come into our place and take one.

For me it is the lack of ball movement. They run down and take a rush contested shot instead of making a pass and working the ball. I Understand We to push the pace. But do it with a decent look.
Man, we need to hit a couple of shots and get some easy put backs. We haven't gotten an offensive rebound yet and are just getting abused on the boards by a team with no size advantage over us. They just wanted it more in the 2nd half. That effort will change in the 2nd half. I'm thinking we hit at least 5 3's and we have 6 offensive rebounds in the 2nd half to pull this one out. (crossing my fingers REALLY hard)
