It's weird that if it's a fractured 5th that he was able to continue on for so long. It's a common soccer injury so I've been around a couple and it's sit down and get a little queasy painful. So I don't know what's going on with that.

Putting it in perspective might help a bit. They could be on the plane home to soon find out their coach's son has cancer. It softens the blow a bit....

Suffered a similar injury at a football camp in middle school. Broke it early in the practice and finished the practice. Didn't find out I fractured it till the next morning.

For the record, I wouldn't play. But Georges is 10x tougher than me, and probably all the posters on this site. I'm not saying he should play, in fact, no one is saying he SHOULD play. I think everyone is saying there's still a chance he COULD play.

For anyone who thinks there is a chance he will play, I will clarify, there is NO chance.

If anyone can figure out how the lineup/matchups/defense is going to work now without Niang it is Fred Hoiberg.

I think we will be OK without Niang, even though he has been on a fantastic tear. What scares me most- is not having Niang for the last few minutes of a tight game.

Need an extra special GAMEDAY THREAD tomorrow night RULZZZ!! Get preparing.

Yeah, after reading that article CycloneErik linked, there is no way he's playing. He may be lucky to have that thing heal without surgery within 6 weeks of wearing a cast. He probably won't even be able to walk tomorrow.

Starting to think glass half full. Niang would get destroyed by Macadoo in the post, so maybe we can rotate Gibson/Edozie at him. Might slow him down more. Offensively we just need Naz and Thomas to have the games of their lives.

Nevermind...gonna go cry again.

Not going there to poke fun in any way. Going there to point out that everyone who thinks this is the end of the world is overreacting, because it's not even close.

I really wrote some nasty things about you and your post. I'll hold those in fear of being banned for life. But seriously, to bring what you did into this conversation has no place. No one was comparing a broken foot to cancer. We all realized it wasn't the end of the world. You are the one dumb enough to think it was.
