I just keep thinking about how crushed Georges was after the Ohio State game last year - feeling like he had let the team down. I hope he doesn't feel like that today and knows that everyone is behind him 100%. He has two more fantastic years with ISU and there will be no better cheerleader for the team tomorrow than him.

I woke up this morning with a **** it all and let's take the ***** of a tournament with reckless abandonment. Time for the Canadian take over. Long needs to drop bombs and Ejim needs to shred the lane - ALL DAY!

(it's probably a great thing I'm do not coach this team - CFH probably has a better plan)

Accidents happened and he should know better.

I'm really glad we have him two more years. This would be worse for him if he were a Senior and this happened.

Somewhere in the U.S.
The biggest problem is it makes ISU a lot easier to defend. Georges is responsible for a lot of the mismatches....not just his own, but creating them for others by what he does and with his passing. Somehow, ISU has to adjust for that, and hopefully Fred and staff can figure something out. Obviously, some more scoring needs to come from sources like Hogue, Morris, Long and the others off the bench. But that is not all it is......it is also going to be how he adjusts the style of play. Let's have a little faith in that the staff can come up with something.

Can't believe how many people have forgotten that ISU has Fred Hoiberg on its sideline.

But right now Roy has no clue what ISU is going to do Sunday. How can he scout this team when one of the Big 3 are out.

ISU just went from a hard to guard overachieving team to a more conventional overachieving team. Edozie is going to have to provide the defense and others are going to have to provide the offense. Do not like it, but at least Fred and his coaches have a little time to figure something out.

Somehow I want to imagine Ol Roy just nervous as hell, because he knows that Fred is the better coach, and he has no idea how Fred is gunna attack him now.

Slick old Roy is worried about more pressing issues....like getting his tan session on this afternoon.

Winning titles will do that.

If most of the posters here know what Niang's absence means to ISU, it seems at least reasonably likely that Roy Williams can figure that out as well--since he is, ya know, a college basketball coach.

To say that this is an "overachieving" team doesn't do justice to their talent. They're a team that has realized the potential of some truly outstanding talent.

Yep, that is why as an ISU fan ALWAYS wear a cup!

Anybody want to sign on for a class action lawsuit against the nut cup companies? Most of us had them on and it still hurts like hell. Damn things are worthless.

I think Roy is shaking at the idea of what Edozie and SDW can do. You're being delusional.
