In the first 25 minutes, Ramsay hunted a young girl and Stannis burned somebody alive, and Joffrey still seemed the most evil of the bunch. I'm interested to see what that actor does next.

That death probably could have saved for the end of the series. Still, it was fun watching him go. He may have been the most evil character ever imagined.

Basically they're throwing King's Landing and eventually the Lannister family into chaos.

Tyrion kills Tywin
Cersei goes psychopathic
Jamie goes missing

Well, I just learned the hard way that quoting a post with a spoiler opens said spoiler.

**** me.

In regards to your second comment, I think we're already there.

That was just awesome... Usually this show does not make me happy. Now I have to watch again.

I haven't enjoyed watching a character die that much in a long time...maybe ever. Credit to the actor for playing the twisted evil little SOB so well. You know this is going to be a hell of a season with so much **** going down in the first few episodes.

We were all just talking at my place Saturday about how that characters demise will be awesome but wouldn't be for awhile. We all were like 'welp... Didn't see that coming' tonight. Cerise will take over as most hated easily.

They also could have, very easily, put it at the end of Season 3. But by doing this, by pulling this major event right now, in episode 2, they've once again changed the expectations of the show. In season 1, they killed the main character. In season 3, they killed the hero. But they did all that at the end of seasons. You knew that in the last two episodes of each season, big stuff was going to happen. Now, they killed their primary villain.

This is one of the most unique shows on television, specifically because of this sort of thing.

Westeros is going to implode. The Tyrells have no need to be there anymore, the Dorns could take advantage of this situation, Sansa has a husband now in jail. So much **** is going to hit the fan because the Lannisters are not going to feel safe in the capital at all.
