Oh, Tinder's not just for young people. I'm 30 and go on like two tinder dates as week which is about I can handle at my old aged energy level. Hiphopp, you should get it.

Installing now.

I have Plenty Of Fish which has a similar "Match" function. We'll see if the pickings are better on Tinder.

Re: Friday QOTW 4/18 - What really grinds your gears about your SO or the Opposite Se

Here's one I've run into since I've been back in the dating pool.

Girls pretty much always say they are just looking for a "nice guy". Most of the time they will be more attracted to the cocky guy than the nice quiet one, even if they're both attractive.
I know it's about confidence, but even when you're confident you can still lose out to someone with "game".
You would think girls would figure this out eventually, but they usually date a doosh and think they can change him.

When a chick tells you she is looking for a "nice guy" she is lying. End of story. She would pick a complete d-bag that treats her like garbage in a second over a nice guy based on 3 scenarios... 1. Said d-bag makes bank. 2. Said d-bag is better looking even if just slightly better looking. 3. Said d-bag has a nice ride.

This coincides with any chick telling you that they aren't materialistic. HUGE LIE! They all are.

Confidence is also key. Also, pretty much letting them know you ain't gonna stick around and wait. (obviously more subtle than that)

I think there's less of an online dating stigma to Tinder. I have a few female friends in the 27-30 range that all love to talk about and date on Tinder, but don't do online otherwise.

Flakiness. Make plans and stick to them.

Also related, text messaging in general can get annoying as **** sometimes.

Absolutely. It's ok to be a nice guy but that doesn't mean you have to sit back and let a chick walk all over you. You have to be assertive and ALWAYS remember when dating there are a ton of options out there. You can never allow yourself to get in a situation that you aren't willing to walk away from when some red flags start popping up.

My wife and I were raised very differently. My parents never argued in front of us and her parents were at each other's throats every mealtime. As a result, I'm really mellow and tend to avoid unneccessary confrontations. She sees them as normal.

If the wife and I argue, I stay really even keel, which apparently pisses her off. She will relentlessly argue a lost cause only so she can push me to the point of raising my voice.

This is my wife and I down to the letter.

When I ask her where she wants to eat she never gives me a response. It's like a interrogation trying to find out.

So my Friday Question of The Week:

What grinds your gears about your significant other or just the opposite sex in general?

Also, let's try to keep is safe for work until around 5pm.
2 things:

1) Emotions - Who needs 'em?
2) Buying crap and then not using it.

4 pages in "screaming someone else's name" hasn't come up once. There is hope for us.

I don't have a tinder because of how many chicks I know on it. The funny thing is most of those girls I know are on it to find a relationship, but every guy that is attractive that they match up with ends up just wanting to get some.

I have a guy friend that has it that only "likes" ugly girls and then trolls them.

Are we friends in real life? :jimlad: I have a friend that does that too.

I've almost never met a girl on Tinder that wants a relationship. Most of them are on the rebound.

This is exactly my wife and I as well. She also grew up yelling from the other side of the house to talk to someone or ask a questions whereas I was raised to get up and walk to where they are to talk to them.

Re: Friday QOTW 4/18 - What really grinds your gears about your SO or the Opposite Se

This cracked me up because this is also my wife to a tee. She will sometimes start telling me a story from her day and by the time she gets through all of the background information she thinks is important she will have forgotten what she wanted to tell me. Drives me nuts because I'll have spent 10 minutes listening to background with no story payoff.
