So apparently, Anaheim decided to phone in Game 7.

Yep, it's a beatdown. What a disappointment. Was hoping for a excellent game tonight to watch.

Blackhawks vs. Kings in Western Conference Finals again this year.

No disappointment here. After that brutal series a convincing game 7 win is welcomed. Kings are too beat up on D, not sure they can even make it interesting against Chicago.

I really don't like the fact that they spaced out the first three games of this upcoming series so much: Sunday, Wednesday, Saturday? Come on.

Rangers put a beatdown on Montreal today. That was surprising.

Just seven wins to go!

(and yes, if I weren't a Blackhawks fan that music would be super annoying)

Nice start of Series for Hawks. Need to be ready for Game 2 as Kings have a few days now to rest up and regroup.

Is it me or did those announcers yesterday build up LA during the entire game? It could be the homer in me but, damn, they seemed to be just waiting for the Kings to start whoopin us despite never leading in the game.

It may be just you, Hawks got plenty of hype. I thought the announcers were going to start crying when they disallowed the goal (which was the right call). To their credit, they calmed down when the official explanation came down in the third period. They are better than the crap announcers the Kings had the first two rounds, they actually used the sharks announcers in round one and the Ducks color guy was part of the broadcast team in round two.

To be fair, the review didn't make any sense. The puck clearly wasn't in on Toews' shot, and clearly was in after the contact. And if they thought it was goalie interference, then there would be no goal and no review. It seemed they allowed the goal originally and then disallowed it after review. The call was fine. How they got that call was odd, and was the reason the announcers were so perplexed.

I understand they stated that it was because they were checking if the initial shot was in, which happened before the interference. But it was obvious that shot didn't go in, and that the puck entered the net well after the contact that would disallow the goal.

I thought that the Blackhawks had a very good third period after getting thoroughly out-played in the 2nd. We were very lucky to be up 2-1 going into the 3rd.

To be fair, it was obvious to you watching on television but may not have been in real time when there was a train wreck in the crease. I would rather they didn't review it either, just stuck with the call on the ice but they were trying to get it right. The announcers reaction didn't help the situation. If they wouldn't have jumped to conclusions a lot of Hawks fans wouldn't have followed their lead. Either way, it was a fair outcome on that play.
