Wanted 3 ot's. Congrats to kings. Rangers will always remember blowing those first 2 games where they blew 2 goal leads.

Lundqvist has nothing to be ashamed of concerning this game....nothing.

Holy smokes, that rebound came RIGHT BACK to Martinez.

So I just googled Alec Martinez. He played for the CR Roughriders of the USHL in 2004-'05

I need a vacation what an emotional run for the fans and the team., I love this team as much as I love the Cyclones, 20+ years a season ticket holder.
I have video of the cup being rolled out, and when my hangover improves I will post it.

Hockey is one of the greatest spectator sports there is. I encourage you guys get to a game, Wild, Hawks Blues, heck if you are in LA come to a Kings game.

These guys are the most down to earth athletes you ever want to meet. Justin Williams and I were in a line to pick up a sub sandwich a few days ago. The guy spent several minutes asking how long I had tickets, where I sat. We talked about how they came back from beating San Jose.
It was like just talking to your buddy about hockey.

Okay need to go pop some Advil and go back to bed..

The most memorable game I've seen is when the Stars beat the Sabres for the cup in triple OT, I believe Bret Hull scored a controversial game winning goal. I don't think this game topped that for most memorable, but it will be up there

I think they won that on the road, right? Great game.

What made last night so special is the Kings won it at home. When the cup is won at the home teams arena, it makes it all that more incredible. Martinez throws his stick a mile into the air, gloves go flying and the guys just piled into the corner in front of us.
When that goal was scored the roof blew off Staples. I have never experienced anything like it and may never again.
