With the exception of Johnson's injury this is old news. NDS never counted on Colville for this season and Taylor exhausted his eligibility. Johnson, who will be missed, was their only veteran OL returning who had started all 15 games last year. Hinz started two games at center in 2013/14. Their depth at O-line is inexperienced and suspect.

NDSU strength has always been its line play, nothing to worry about Plankers 6 7 318 and Lechler 6 7 280 giants that will step right in.

Plankers started two games last year as a redshirt freshman. Lechler, also a RS freshman in 2013, did not have a start. Midday August heat will be as hard on their offense as it will be on our defense due to both teams dearth of depth. Hope we prepare better than we did for Northern Iowa last year and we take care of business. A win against this team is absolutely no assurance of a successful season. A loss will signal another embarrassing year.

I'm guessing that you know nothing about Taiese, as even most Cyclone fans have no idea what he actually weighed in at when he reported. BTW, our third string Center is 6'6 327. I don't think that you want to compare size with a BCS program.
