Did you happen to notice that that website lists virtually EVERY RB as having a High risk of injury. Adrian Peterson, Matt Forte, Jamaal Charles and Eddie Lacy are ALL listed as "high risk". You have officially reached "paralysis by analysis" mode.

No I didn't see that every RB had a high risk of injury. I finally saw the article that Rotowire mentioned. There were 5 guys: Arian Foster, Eddie Lacy, Ryan Mathews, Ellington, and Bernard Pierce.

They put Ellington on the list based on his past injuries and Arians making him his workhorse back.

That being said, Ellington has been drafted in the 3rd round (12 team drafts). Depending on how my draft goes and if I need another RB I would take him but would consider now taking Dwyer with a late round pick.

You just explained exactly why taking an elite RB in the 1st round makes more sense than a WR or QB. You can get a WR or QB later that gets you almost as many points. For RBs, that isn't the case.

You shouldn't be drafting an "average" RB in the 1st round anyway, so how is that relevant to defend your pick of Calvin Johnson #1 overall?

Calvin at number 1 is a bit ridiculous, however, after the top 5 RBs, I'm ok going a different route this year. A lot of experts are changing their opinion on getting two rbs right away and are now selling to take AT LEAST one WR in the first 2 rounds

RB's are just too inconsistent and injury prone. Only 2 maybe 3 out of the top 5 RBs picked actually finish in the top 5 almost every single year.

Great WR but RBs are weak, and apparently in FF RBs are every thing

In a PPR league, I'd rather have top tier WR's and TE's than RB's. Also, since I knew my RB's would be weak, I focused on guys that get a lot of passes like Vereen (I could see 80 catches if he plays all year) and Bell in the full point PPR anyway.

I wouldnt listen to BDK when it comes to fantasy football. I think your teams are pretty solid for PPR.

I like your team 1 a lot in a 12 team PPR. Solid WRs, Vereen had a combined 650 yards and nearly 50 catches last year even with being out half the season, and has good chemistry with Brady. Graham at TE is as good as it gets. I think for a 12 team league this is strong, I like the strategy of going with guys who catch the ball out of the backfield, but Bell will also be a goal line guy. Woodhead combined for over 1,000 yards and 8 TDs last year. Good stuff. I've never done an auction draft so I have no clue how to assess your team there.

Auctions are a blast to do. I suggest everyone try one. I really like that team, but Yahoo does too as they said I had the best draft and predict me to go 13-0 in that one.

Did you at least get a guy like Demarius Thomas or A.J. Green to back up your WR's?
