Reports re: Andre Ellington are all over the place. No difference for me because I have him and Giovani Bernard as RB2 options so I will definitely start Bernard. But some say he could miss "extended time" and others say he might play this week.
NOOOOO!!!!!!! I was really hoping to have a solid scoring #2 RB in Ellington after scrambling to make due with mediocre RB2s behind Jamaal Charles last year. Now I really need my WRs to have good weeks until Ellington is back (if he is going to miss time).

Rotoworld:

Andre Ellington (foot) did not practice on Friday.
Multiple reports out of Arizona suggest Ellington's absence could be "extended," with beat reporter Mike Jurecki most recently suggesting the injury might be a 4-6 week ordeal. He needs to be removed from Week 1 fantasy lineups.

MOTHER ******!

I thought I had a solid RB2 with Ellington. Balls.

I really wanted to taek Antonio Brown as my WR2 but the dude ahead of me took him so I went with the best RB available.

Of course Dwyer is taken in my league.

Rats. Well, what do you thinks, folks? I can either bring in Stevan Ridley to be my RB2 and pray he's not on Belichick's **** list or I can play a 4th WR in Kelvin Benjamin. Standard scoring league.

Would not go with Benjamin. Rookie in his first game and Cam Newton is hurt.

Ridley. Vereen may get most of the work but Ridley put up some solid stats against Miami last season.

Anyone else picking up Gordon? On the off chance he's allowed to play this year, it might be worth it because I guarantee he's better than your worst bench player.

I looked at Gordon and saw this on ESPN:

Spin: The new drug agreement would reportedly include testing for HGH and reduce the threshold for what would constitute a positive test for marijuana. Gordon's positive test for marijuana was reportedly below the new threshold of levels of the drug in a test, and thus opens the potential that his suspension could be reduced. However, there are many obstacles for Gordon's suspension to be altered including that the Washington Post report says the new drug policy would have to be agreed to before Sunday to impact previous suspensions. Plus, it's not clear that the two sides would both agree to modify prior suspensions. There's some hope here that Gordon's penalty could be reduced, but the odds of it happening are unclear.

Yeah, that's what I figured too. I'll be interested to see aht Benjamin can do down in Carolina considering that Newton really has no proven WRs to throw to. Someone has to get some numbers down there. Totally bummed about Ellington, though. Hate getting no points from a 3rd round pick.

I took him in the 16th round of my draft. Figured anyone else I took at that point I could likely find on the waiver wire anyways. Still not counting on him being in, but if he is, total score.

I'm really weak at TE in one of my leagues. Starting Ladarius Green. I have decent depth at RB... Forte, Jennings, Bell, Woodhead, Rice. I reached out to a guy who has Jordan Reed and needs some help at RB to see if he'd be interested in dealing him. He offered Reed for Rashad Jennings and Ladarius. Not really liking that, but wanted to see what you guys think? Joique/Ladarius seems a little more comfy for me, but still not sure. Thoughts?
