I have tickets to the Baylor game, and that would be fun. If that wasn't the case the answer would easily be ou because screw stoops.

I like Baylor and respect what Briles has built.
I hate Oklahoma and won't be changing that.

So my answer is Oklahoma, and I'd hope to see some tears from them along the way.

I pull for the conference during bowl season - but still feel the need to shower after the OU game.

We already took away a conference title from Baylor last season in basketball, might as well take away a football one from them too. Plus I think if we beat Baylor in two weeks we have enough confidence as a team to beat anybody, and that's important.

As others have said, this isn't really even a question. It is OU. There is no team we have been worse against historically. It is a much bigger deal to beat OU even in a down year. The fact that OU and Baylor are juxtaposed is disturbing (mainly because it shows how far Baylor has come).

I'm not that loyal. I'd pull for Iowa over Oklahoma, but laugh out loud at what OU did to them.

Ehh - if it came down to iowa vs a Big XII team - I'd probably pull for iowa too. Family and all. Actually - in such a case, I really can't lose....

I would relish watching Stoops beat Iowa badly at Kinnick. Take that Frye. Right to the groin! Oh btw thanks for teaching me how to coach.... *laughs as walking away*

**** Baylor I really dislike them, they're still Baylor to me, and I weant them to go back to old Baylor.

That being said, I would really like to Beat OU, But at the same time, I want them to win the whole damn thing, i'm sick and tired of the SEC and Florida State bandwagoners. I want a Big 12 Title, they have the best shot.

If we could get a W either against Baylor or OU but only one of them, who would you rather beat to most likely take out of playoff contention?

I am thinking OU, I think OU is a better representative for the conference and would have a a better chance, but our history against them make me what that W way more......

If the point of this discussion is to balance the possibility that Iowa State can reach postseason after a 1-2 start, and also a more likely scenario that Big 12 is included in the "final four":

Baylor.

OU ten times out of ten. Baylor's lofty spot in college football is temporary; when Art Briles leaves for greener pastures I seriously doubt their ability to keep it going. They're basically vacationing in the elite program neighborhood.
But OU is a blue blood, and I'd love to see ISU make a national mark by at least occasionally knocking them off.

Even just 1 time out of 5 would be such a drastic improvement from 5 times ever. Just something that indicates a level of respectability. Can't lose to the biggest guys forever if we want to make something of our program.
