It could have been worse

So your record as a head coach in College football is what? Baylor had a ton of momentum in the first half, they could have scored easily if we did not run out the clock. The onside kick was a good idea but didnt work. Did Rhoads show confidence in his team by trying something risky. You could pick apart the game plan for hours but the problem was missed tackles on the touchdown runs and Sam unable to hit a wide open receiver TWICE on long passes.

This is so ******* annoying. We're all 0-0. So what? Mindlessly defending losing coaches just because they are coaches doesn't make you smarter. It makes you dumber. You're too stupid to even have your own opinion. Whatever the coaches did was right because they are coaches, yep yep.

Well, that is two of the problems.

For those who didn't like the article, I get it. You're ****** about your team getting beat up.

But not for one second last week did I think Iowa State would win this game. Heck, I thought Baylor would cover handily.

The headline is true. That one could have been a heck of a lot worse.

I wasn't happy with Iowa State's performance but to me, the fact that they didn't roll over and die was encouraging.. Lose 71-1 again (what it was looking like at the break) and it's a demoralizing defeat that could hinder the rest of the season.

That didn't happen though.

Moral victory? I guess. But I will take that compared to what I expected to occur so I'll take it.

Pretty much. If you take out the 2nd quarter screw ups, we are very much in this game. And really, being at least competitive was what most of us were hoping for. I am encouraged by how we finished and I think we will continue to make strides.

People on both sides of the argument have put together coherent thoughts. Sadly, I'm not sure if you can be included in that. Your post history can be summed up as "Rhoads is bad." I would expect a Fanatic such as yourself to be able to give a little bit larger of an explanation.

I was referring to multiple posts you've made. Pretty much any from the end of last night's game until now.

Drunk last night, hungover today. You can't judge a man by his Saturday nights and Sunday mornings........er, afternoons.

We lost to Baylor...a top 10 team by a margin far less then most thought.

Please. Any analysis of this game should deal with the first half only - and it was 35-7. The second half was irrelevant. It was garbage time for Baylor. Tons of fans left at halftime, because the game was over...

Good to know. I'll remind people of that whenever you post now. It takes a big person to admit everything they post is complete bullcrap because they are either intoxicated or hungover.

A content loser is still a loser. Enjoy your contentment with Iowa State's really bad football situation.

I didn't leave at halftime against OSU, but I bet you did.
