Sam is a Big 12 caliber player.

The rest of our offensive skill players (excluding Bibbs) are not.

Yep, particularly without West, Bundrage, and Harris. Daley gets so easily impeded it's sad. Even with those guys, we are slower. Of course, it does not help when by design we are stationary or coming back to the LOS. You have to hit slow guys moving away from the LOS to have any success at yards after catch.

Doesn't really matter though. There are so many things inept about CPR ball, with the exception of Wally getting guys to be in the right spot.

Wally might just go rent a car after this game and drive to Florida for the winter. What more can he do when his guys get absolutely no help.

I really wish we could have found a way to still win after that goal line debacle to give a big middle finger to this rigged conference but that call took a big toll on our team and its obvious.

I know it's probably not legal, but **** it. If I'm Paul Rhoads, I'm going up to North Dakota with my staff and begging that team to transfer to Ames.

What would be funnier? If we upset Oklahoma or if our only win on the year was Iowa? I'd personally love to rub that in the hoks faces - we may suck but at least we are better than you.

Yeah. That'll get 'em good. :-/

Man, I'm sure glad we have Toledo next weekend. This team needs a confidence boost.

smacking d-linemen in the gut the second their hands go up? Have you witnessed the ISU offensive line do that?

You're funny. That is one thing I've never heard from an offensive line coach. "While you're pass blocking if he puts up his hands punch him in the gut".

What's odd is when down it seems like punt return and kick returners are told to sit on it. Not even trying to create a spark.

We tried that last year and more than half didn't show up, quit or got injured.

Let's not forget that the JUCO's they did sign that are healthy to play either don't play(Jordan Harris), or are used in spot duty. They can't even recruit JUCO's good enough to see the field.

This game is not on the refs. They didn't help, but OSU beat us. The refs didn't.

And when Iowa goes 9-3 (because they play absolutely nobody until Wisconsin and Nebraska at the end of the year), we get Hoks once again saying "Super Bowl" and "we won the only game that matters to us". I was so done with that after 1998.
