Re: Midnight Madness?

I like football a lot more than basketball, but I like to watch ISU basketball over ISU football too, because I like winning most of all.

Since we're all talking about what we like, I like threads that don't have a stupid title. Mods can you change it to Hilton Madness?

Re: Midnight Madness?

I have to go to a bar to watch the Texas game (probably will go to an actual UT bar to have sound) but I have cyclones.tv subscription...

Do I watch Hoiball mania live and miss some of the football game, or steak out my position at the local longhorns fan bar (which also has the best fried chicken in town) then watch a replay of the bball event later?

Go to the bar first. If it turns into a blow out you can leave, and then you get fried chicken. Plus, the hilton madness event could serve as a pick me later later

Plus you can tune in to see BDK and his buddies leaving Hilton Madness early once Thomas doesn't hit as many threes as they think he should have.

Re: Midnight Madness?

It looks like it's streaming on cyclones.com, but it's premium. Dang.

I'm looking at the schedule right now for Cyclones.tv, but I'm not seeing it anywhere. Are you sure or am I just missing it somewhere? I sure hope it is streaming on there as that would be my only way to watch it.

You might be able to find wifi, if you have a laptop you can bring and are ok being "that guy" until the game starts.

I wish I had some idea how many people will show up for Hilton Madness. Will we fill Hilton? How early to line up?

I was off. I thought it was last Sunday for some odd reason. They did have a live event on the schedule for 5 pm that day which I mistaken for Midnight Madness. Not sure if it will be streamed, but count me in as someone who is curious.

I may make the trek to Ames for this though.

I would assume it would be on the cyclones.tv live events page by now if they were planning on streaming it...

If I was Pollard, I wouldn't stream it live. You want cheeks in the seats. Even if they end up putting a video of the event on cyclones.tv, I wouldn't announce it prior to the event, for the same reason.
