First, not pointing any direct fingers at anyone person. Second, I have never played college football so my understanding of this level of strength and conditioning only comes from family that directly took part in FBS programs. However, it seems like our athletes are consistently overpowered, physically outmatched, and repetitively worn down by the opposition. At some point doesn't this call into question the program Yancy has put in place for this group. Not saying that he gets to start with the type of athlete, OU, Baylor, or Texas gets to mold, but we surely get the same caliber if not better than say NDSU, UNI, KSU, etc and the same outcome is seen. Again, not an expert but run blocking is about power, leverage, explosion, gap assignment, etc and we seem to be lacking in all the physical attributes that make for good run blocking. Just wanted to see if someone with more insight concerning our strength program could give a better synopsis or if my observations were misguided.
