I was thinking about making a thread about Niang's dunk pose, because it's clearly not flashy enough and he needs to do a better job elevating himself from the earth.

Some of our fans can not handle success, the complaining on here and on Facebook is unbelievable. I hope BDJ doesn't read this and think this is a representation of our fan base after his first experience in Hilton.

OMG HE DUNKED IT, LAYUPS ONLY PLEASE!

We do have that loonatic fringe in our fanbase, there is no doubt about that. This is nothing, just wait until we lose a game, you will see how crazy some of those idiots become.

Kind of a beside here, but does anybody know the story of BDJ's recruitment?

Didn't he basically call us, email/call Fred or one of the assistants and wanted us to do the same thing we did to DeAndre Kane to him?

I might have that wrong, so correct me if I am.

I'd just find it interesting if talented guys seeking a second chance, to prove the critics of either their game or their personalities, are coming to us now, just on reputation, and not the other way around.

Easier to farm than to hunt, as a recruiter/salesman, after all.

For some reason, I think this was the case as well, where I believe he reached out to our staff. Let me see if I can find something...

If he effs up in a real game and bricks a dunk or gets a T, then we can riot.

Otherwise who the hell cares?

I finally got to see it early today on the highlight reel on cyclones.com....

Ehh. Nothing to get worked up over. Personally I thought it was pretty lame. The reverse was much more entertaining, showy, whatever.

Agree with CyHipHopp - once he messes one up, we can get up in arms.

My guess is during film, Fred may have made a remark that may put an end to it anyway.

Why? I have no problem embarrassing and beating down other Big12 teams. Call it payback for football. They never let off the gas, we should do the same to them in basketball.

God forbid we have an exciting, flashy (and most importantly) winning product to put in front of fans and the nation and draw the attention of top recruits.

You know, because that would be just awful.
