This was a 98% ISU crowd and they just sucked. I know the team didn't play well....but the crowd never ******* got loud.
Were you there? No? Then shut the hell up. You have no right to complain on crowd if yiu just sit at home.

Crowd was fine and not an issue. Team played very, very poorly.

I thought this thread would be calling them out for emptying out of the arena so early and missing ISU's attempt at a late rally.

I was at the game. Crowd was much more engaged then the team...lets just leave it at that. I wouldn't be surprised if BDJ or Niang has a black eye when they get back to the Marriott. 13 has some "buying in" to do. This isn't UNLV.

Crowd was totally fine on TV. They got rowdy at numerous points in the game only for ISU to give up an egregious basket on defense. What do you expect, them to go nuts when Maryland scores too?

I though Twocoach would take a break after the 40 point drubbing KU received. Most of the fans stayed until the very end.

So you're blaming the guy who had 17 & 7?

Only people allowed to post something like this are those in actual attendance in KC. The fans tried but with nothing to cheer about and Maryland dictating tempo (holding until under 10 seconds on the shot clock) the momentum died quickly.

If you think BDJ was the problem tonight you've got to rewatch this game. The only guy who could buy a basket tonight and he was playing like it. Even shared the ball a few times when he saw a teammate with a better opportunity, nobody could hit anything though. 17 points, 7 rebounds, and a steal, shooting 50% from the field. If just one other guy on the team stepped up and played like BDJ we win this game.

That was a team wide loss. Long chucked some horribly ill advised shots up. Niang knows that he is an invaluable offensive player so he seems to have no interest in risking getting fouls playing defense. I saw him do a few matador moves as he let guys go right past him. Hogue was invisible until he threw that nice hip check. Morris was erratic. I didn't see very many players rotate over to help out on defense. It's early but I have been concerned about ISU's defense in every game I have seen them play so far. Not really making mistakes, just not aggressive at all.

No kidding. BDJ led us in rebounding, scoring and steals.

Niang was just shooting 3's because of Maryland's height. Naz/Thomas couldn't get many shots off, and when they did, they didn't go in.

Hogue may as well have stayed on the bus tonight.

Nader is still looking clueles.

Morris may have had his worst overall game as a Cyclone.

.......And he chose to blame tonight on BDJ???

We were at the game. We cheered loud just like at Hilton. The team looked tired, did not rebound at all and could not hit a shot. Fred will use this as a good learning lesson and they will come out stronger.
