I don't want an offense that runs the ball every play or has no capability of passing to balance the attack. But since I tuned in partway thru 2nd quarter, I saw several good runs by Wimberly and no pass completions. They didn't return to the run until the obligatory clock-killing-become-halftime stretch.

Not one to settle. I am sure that you are one of the guys who ******* about how bad Iowa State is. If you believe that they are the most awful team to put on a jersey, then you shouldn't be ****** they are only down 14 at half. Pretty simple. You can be disappointed Iowa State is not ranked and not able to compete on the road against a top 10 team. But if you think Iowa State sucks, you can't be mad about a 14 point halftime lead. End of story.

Don't be a box-score simpleton. Once you catch on that it is all dependent on the opponent playing down to our level, you will understand. Let us hope the rest of the second half can unfold like the 2009 NU game.
