TCU should be pouring it on. As should FSU, Oregon last night, and the SEC teams. People have been searching all year for a way to get two teams into the playoff that aren't even top 10 in lots of computer models.

We tip our running plays.
What is most disturbing is that Sam has given up and the players have given up on him.....YET THE COACHES CANNOT SEE THIS?!?!?! Sit him at this point. Lord, if these coaches are that dense for this reason alone they should leave now and go away.
The coaches have quit as well.

So just because we knew this game would be a **** show doesn't mean we can't be angry about it? Oh, I forgot - "We are Iowa State." We shouldn't expect (or at least want) better.

This program will probably continue to suck as long as everyone begins every sentence and every discussion with our sorry history. Our historical ineptitude is the warm glass of milk and fluffy blanket that makes days like today and seasons like 2014 OK.

A. We don't want to get some game film on other players?

B. Afraid of QBack controversy

C. Staff can't think their way out of a wet paper bag

I'm leaning C

It's definitely time to get any backupus in there if we remotely thing they can help the team. If no QB fits that...that's scary in itself.

Something's wrong with Sam. He is playing hurt. I'm not saying he's good or bad, but he doesn't look right. Probably another "he's more hurt than we let on"

Well......you, I, and 4 million national television viewers can see this....but our coaches cannot. I will say this again LIBERTY BOWL. You play a qb with the flu. I have no problem trying it out.....but once it is obvious that he is hurt/suffering whatever, take him out!!!! Sam is a warrior and will not quit( I will defend Sam the player and person), but a coach has to have enough sense to see what is going on.

Some players can't seem to play their way on, and some can't play their way off.
