I checked the bowl records since the 2004 football season and found the following to be very interesting:
Big XII - 39 wins; 35 losses (52.7%) - 14 wins; 15 losses last 4 yrs
Big 10 - 28 wins; 45 losses (38.3%) - 12 wins; 21 losses last 4 yrs
Head to head records - Big XII 15 wins; Big 10 6 wins

Bottom line is the Big 10 is always over rated so leaving the Big XII out of the final four in favor of another Big10 school should be no shock to anyone. I hope Baylor and TCU are fighting mad on game day.

There is so much missing from your comparison of Bowl W/L for ea. conference..
1) were the teams evenly matched, place in their conference, rankings
2) time off for ea. team
3) location - was it more or less a home game vs the opponent

Its not as easy as looking at the W/L..

I wish the Big 12 bowl lineup didn't suck so bad. It seems to continually get worse.

Could it be other then Oklahoma and Texas, that has basically been it, the remaining are mediocre at best. Yr. in and Yr out, not just this yr..

Your choice of abbreviations are as puzzling as your argument.

The Big 12 is basically Oklahoma and Texas. KSU-TCU-Baylor would be the next tier.. Hard to have a top tier Bowl tie in schedule with a bunch of mediocre teams after the first two. ( not just this yr. as reference )

Bowl games are very misleading stats.

PAC 12 #3 vs Big 12 #6
C-USA #1 vs Big 12 #8

Thank you for your input, Good thing your Iowa boys had those bottom tier Big 10 teams, UNI, and an AAC team to play this year huh?

And when Alabama 'Bama's Ohio State the world will know that it was all about $$ and not about competition.

The only thing that game proves is OSU is either better or worse then Bama.. Does't prove squat for the little 12.

Ya, that UNI team that IOWA beat. Is the same team that beat the FCS school that kick the crap out of ISU..

Just like the game on September 13 proved that ISU was better then Iowa this season.

Right..... IOWA doesnt play for just that one game. We played the entire season 7-5 not 2-10... Easy to see IOWA was def. the best team in the state.

So UNI > NDSU > ISU > Iowa > UNI? I am confused...

And I know Iowa State sucks.... But they beat Iowa in Kinnick... (Let me guess... Super Bowl?)

It would of been easier to see if they beat ISU, but they failed, on their own field.

Does the TCU game against Minnesota prove anything or no? 30-7 vs 31-24...

Proves nothing. TCU won at home, OSU won on the road in bad weather. I know this is really hard for clone fans to understand but as the season progresses teams get better...

The proof is wide eyed for everyone to see. IOWA 7-5 and Bowl bound AGAIN. ISU 2-10 and yet another losing season 8 out of the last 9 yrs. now.. Next yr. recruit class ranks dead last for the little 12, so the future looks so awesome for the clones.... lol
