I dont think he hates Iowa State... I think he is underrating the fact that defensively we need a rim protector and *gasp* McKay provides that.

Some simple research would have shown him that, but than again he did attend a practice once...
I think Adam was being sarcastic.

I think Adam was being sarcastic.

I know he was... I am just saying that not all of us are implying he hates ISU or is "out to get us."

Just asking that if you are an analyst who is going to make comments about one guy coming in disrupting ISU's chemistry you look like a dope especially after Friday...

Ironically, trollcoach, a guy (we assume) who watches basketball as a hobby, constantly posts his opinions and assumes he is right about everything. ****** bag.
I don't assume that I am right about anything opinion based. There is no right or wrong in opinions. I have mine. You have yours. Some agree, some disagree. No worries.

Have you seen what ISU fans are saying to Greenberg on twitter? It isn't pretty.

One of the many reasons I really hate twitter. So many loose cannons can make everyone who is associated with them - like it or not - look like total asshats. Without the forum for instant feedback people might actually think about things before responding back to the source or at least blow up at the water cooler rather in a globally public forum.

He's an analyst giving his OPINION. He's not saying McKay sucks, Iowa State sucks, or anything even close to that.

Lighten up people.

With that being said if he wants to broadcast his opinion to thousands of people he better be prepared and willing to get thousands of opinions sent back at him.

I expect him to not play well right away. That's just how a lot of the transfers seem to start. Clyburn, KL, Nader, and even Royce took a bit to get things figured out. McKat will probably be no different.

ISU's offense under Fred is built around utilizing the talents of the players he has on that year's roster. His offense has had a little different flavor every year he has been here. I have to agree that Fred, the guy who coaches basketball for a living is probably correct when he says that McKay will add a dimension to Hoiball that it has never had.

This. Hoiberg has literally adjusted his offense every season. Ironically, Royce wasn't a very good shooter and he didn't have a negative effect on the offense so why would McKay?

If I had to guess, I'd venture that Greenberg's source was himself after he watched ISU practice. Guys that call games swing by and watch practices all the time. They are college basketball junkies with unrestricted access to wherever they want to go. He is confirmed to have been at a practice earlier in October: http://cyclonefanatic.com/basketbal...nd-seth-greenberg-agree-isu-could-be-special/

So if I had been to an early practice in October, does it make sense to anyone that I would have seen McKay get much if any playing time with the starters. Most of us are smart enough to know the answer to this. Greenberg should have been. Tuco? ... not so sure.
