I live in Topeka (30 min from Lawrence). As a whole, KU fans are the most obnoxious fans I've ever met in person. They're predominantly warm weather fans who will bail on the team faster than Scott Drew calling his first timeout. They love nothing more than looking down on other teams from November-March but mysteriously disappear during football season.

Bill "Plays With Him" Self had an itchy timeout trigger finger tonight.

@TarikBlack25 "Good baller" is just a blip in life. "Good man" is for life. Proud to see part of the KU family doing it right. #RockChalk

@KUsports @GaryBedore Perry needs to learn he can be a polite man of faith and still attack the game. Take pride in technical excellence!

Those are definitely weird. Can't say I'm surprised given how bizarre it is that he is on here more than 90% of ISU fans

Tuco is inspiring I hope he tweets at me someday. That would make me feel almost as special as when KXNO Morning Rush retweets me.

Had a "typical" jerk KU fan come to our gamewatch in Fort Collins - he was a coworker of one of my buddies. Loudest person in the room. Complained about all the calls. Reminded everyone about KU's past championships. Then it turns out, we went to KSU because he's an ag guy (works for JBS - meat packers). I gave him a hard time about being a fan for the rival of his alma mater - same as "that guy" who wears Iowa gear but goes to ISU. His explanation, "it's just a piece of paper." Can't stand THAT GUY.

That said, had another KU fan (married an ISU alum) who was pretty cool, so they're not all jerks I guess.

Hey sweet, I'm THAT GUY...I always wanted to be special!

I grew up an ISU fan but went to Iowa...I prefer to think of myself as ballsy for being the only ISU fan at Iowa in the early '90s...and for not getting sucked into the dark side just because I went to school there.

As far as I'm concerned, you're "that guy." I couldn't give less of a **** what team a person cheers for. If I'd gone to ISU, Mizzou or somewhere else, I'd still have been an Iowa fan. The university is taking an awful lot of money from me that I'll be paying back for another 9 years. I don't owe the athletic department a damn thing.

All you need to know about the state of Kansas is that it is so worthless their namesake city decided to take up residence in mostly Missouri.

Calling other fan bases out is BS right now, half of Hilton was booing when a Kansas guard went down to what looked like a season ending knee injury,

As a senior who's grown up around ISU sports, I've never been more embarrassed.

We didn't boo him.

He was stuck in a bad position, looked like he was about to travel, called a timeout, then the ref called the time out and said it was his instead. We booed what looked to be a bail out call for Kansas. After the boo, the kid collapsed, and we, appropriately, quieted down.
