I would say only a 10% chance to win out. A lot of things have to go right to win all 3 road games, and OU at home is not a total gimmie.

Probably 50/50 if they go 3-2 or 4-1. I would take 4-1 in a heartbeat if offered.

I think that used to be the case but not anymore. The crowd last night was awful. But Kansas lost there so its a big win for us. I still think Texas and at KSU will be tougher games than last night.

Texas has lost their crowd at about the same pace that OSU has. Texas is 3-3 at home in conference play while OSU was 5-1 before last night.

I would take a 4-1 finish to the regular season if it were offered right now. 23-7 (13-5) would be a very good spot to be in entering the K.C. tournament. And the three road games left on the schedule all could be challenging, so I'd take 2-1 in those.
I'm with you 100%

It's so difficult to pick where you want the 1 loss to come from though. Another road win, at Texas would go a long ways, however then that would leave either losing at home to baylor/oklahoma or losing on the road at Purple Kansas/Purple Texas. Since we have to defend our home court that means a loss would have to come on the road in Dorothy **** hole or a high school gym...both will be not pretty losses and bring back the lynch mob. Course if we just win out I don't have to scratch my head for the next couple weeks :jimlad:

I sure don't feel good enough about it to call my shot, but it could happen. I always thought this team had a high ceiling. ISU didn't have a great shooting night and still won by exploiting OSU's weakness in rebounding and playing under control. Plus, everyone contributed in a positive way. If they can keep doing that they can put together a hell of a stretch run.

Probably not, but we did just win the toughest game left on our schedule so if we won that then we can beat everyone left on the schedule.

I'd say the Texas game is toughest game on the schedule, just because of their size.

I've had this thought for about five weeks now-the outright conference title will be ours with a road win in the final game at TCU and…………………...

Funny how quickly things change on this site. A day ago, ISU is 1-4 on the road in the Big 12 and we can't win away from Hilton. Add in one 5-point win and now we are winning the rest of our games.

Playing at Texas, at Kansas State, and even at TCU will not be easy. I think we drop at least one of those games. Saturday is obviously a huge game and is the toughest regular season game left on paper.

And even though I have full confidence for this team playing at Hilton, I expect Oklahoma and maybe Baylor to give us a game there. You never know. It helps that those are two games the team probably believes they gave away on the road, so they should be ready to go to get those wins at home.

So funny, I was about to post this same thing. It was a few days ago that people on here were questioning the ability of this team to do anything, now all of a sudden we have this shift. As I've said before, the Jekyll and Hyde of this board is hilarious.

The sad part is, next loss we have, the world will blow up again and people will be questioning this team again.

.

No way will that be for the outright title. Maybe a tie though.

I wouldn't. I'd be happy with it if that's how it turns out but no way I take it if offered right now. We CAN go 5-0 and I want to see if we can. 4-1 is essentially giving up the conference title without trying. Homey don't play that.

Welcome to every single game thread. Up 10, we're unbeatable. Down 1, throw in the towel. Down 5, fire the entire staff. Down 10, burn down Hilton.
