This is a line from an email this morning. The email was faked...the spam was complete...but it was good for a Monday morning laugh! :)

Anyone else having problems with Watch ESPN right now? I'm trying to watch the replay of the Texas game on my computer and it keeps coming up with an error message, but it's fine when I try to use my phone.

I just don't care about Hollywood movie and tv actors, and I generally think less of adult people that do.

I used to think People magazine was the worst thing. And then my wife got a trial copy of Us Weekly.

I don't get sick of warm weather. I hate winter because I feel like **** every day.

I don't have a problem with warm weather either. I'm talking about the sticky, humid, 95+ temps where the air is so heavy it's hard to breathe. Given a choice of one or the other, well...I can always wear more layers. There's a limit to how much I can legally and morally take off and still be able to go out in public. :)

^^^^^ Thiiii-effin'-iiissssss. I am amazed at how, even after all the hollywood gossip pages, that people can so focus on such a group of screwed up individuals.

Honestly, though, I guess in a society that more and more values being self-centered, egotistical, and phony....those people are the best at it.

Seems like begging for attention, clicks, likes, whatever to me.
It took me a while to figure out what you were talking about. At first I thought you were talking about Stumbles, but knew that couldn't be right.

And I know I shouldn't, but I always judge women that have tattoos there.

Oh, and I'd much rather be cold than hot. As you said, you can always wear another layer.

Yeah, I probably should have linked it...but I was talking about the ab shots and the mass quantities of hashtags...Stumbles snuck into the middle of it. :)

Although I have no skin art myself, I can appreciate fine work on others. Most of it is just attention-grabbing schlock, though. For AN example OF GOOD WORK, look at the luscious detail in these roses:

I went to my niece's cheer competition Saturday afternoon. With all apologies to those that have been in the sport and are good people, that was a collection of some of the things I hate most in this world: the same songs remixed into some craptastic 4 hour deafening cacophony, mothers living vicariously through their kids, little girls wearing Taiwanese prostitute make-up, ridiculous fake smiles, and an overabundant focus on self-image.

Some of the stuff I over-heard from the crowd and contestants was unbelievable, too. Mothers just cutting down their daughters about their weight, teammates trashing teammates behind their backs and then being fake nice to them seconds later, parents talking loudly about how another 8-year old girl "shouldn't be wearing that" (because of her weight, not because it was inappropriate).

The saving grace was when they had a group of special needs kids do a routine that pretty much brought tears to my eyes. I swear if I had heard a negative word about that performance, I probably would have gone completely off.

Again, I'm sorry for those that have had good experiences. I know there are great benefits to the sport. But what I witnessed was a really sad collection of humanity.
