Just leave early and go slow. I anticipate a good number of cars in the ditch/accidents from the rush hour. Trying to get to the game quickly is just not going to happen tomorrow night. Be safe everyone.

The weather people are always wrong....WHY CAN'T THEY BE WRONG ABOUT THIS?????

If you are unable to go to the game and live here in the metro area with a pair of tickets let me know and I'll come take them off your hands free of charge. Have 4X4, will drive to Ames.

I plan on making to trip from Urbandale if it's not too bad. I'll have a tough time convincing my wife to let me take the 6 year old if the road condition is sketchy though. So I'll be in a bit of a dilemma because I won't decide until tomorrow night and it might be too late to get my tickets to someone else.

Woah there! Don't drive too far.

I am in the Cedar Falls/Waterloo area and would take a free pair if there is anyone in that area not going.

Not too concerned about my driving ability tomorrow. More worried some buffoon is gonna rear-end me and make me to miss the game completely. Don't be that guy.

I'm leaving work early from Pella just to ensure I will be there in time for tip. If I don't make it home, well, I'll just have to drink more beer.

Woah there! Don't drive too far.

This distance isn't an issue, it's driving with my kid. I'll play it by ear but if it's nasty out I'll probably pass just to not risk anything with my kid in the car. I heard 5 inches by evening commute, that could be pretty bad depending on circumstances.

I got no problem putting myself in a potentially crappy situation to go to a game, but that changes when you throw a little kid into the mix.

I'm in the same boat, kids are staying home with the wife. Wife says she is comfortable with me driving myself, I think she is comfortable with my life insurance policy!

Agreed these are the two most important home games of the year. We need to make the environment as hostile as when ku came to town

If you aren't going to be able to make it to the game, or know somebody else that can't, make sure to give away your tickets if you don't get them sold. Don't underestimate Baylor, we need to pack Hilton and ensure we stay on track for the title!
I posted this earlier today on the Ticket Exchange forum.

If someone isn't going to make it, a friend and I would be happy to fill your seats.

I wouldn't miss these last two games come hell or high snow and I'm driving over from Cedar Rapids tomorrow

So are we. If I see a Linn County license plate in the ditch we may stop and help...if there's time. :)

I'm willing to make the sacrifice of taking 1-2 tickets off someone's hands if they can't make it. I'll leave for Ames early in the afternoon before the heavy stuff moves in if that's what it takes to make sure someone is at the game.

Just told a Hawkeye coworker (and UI bball season ticket holder) we're going to Ames for the game and he said "that's dumb it's supposed to snow". I asked why he wasn't going to Iowa City and he said it's not worth it. I said "but you can get free pizza" and he said, and I quote...word for word... "People in Ames don't have anything better to do that's why they don't need incentives." I said "playing good basketball is the only incentive we need."

I'll jump in line for possible unused tickets..the drive from DSM shouldn't* be too bad...even if it is idc.
