ThisWith Custer leaving, I wonder if Fred maybe takes another gander at Nick Noskowiak. I know that there's been interest there in the past. He'd sit out a year.

Why does he have to sit out?
Next move? Sounds like Chicago....
I guess I assumed he'd signed an LOI to Marquette. Don't transfer rules apply in that situation? I could be totally wrong.
Maybe he's already made his next move.
Maybe Custer knew about it and it felt to him as if he may find it harder and harder to get good mins and that's why he left.
I have nothing to back this up, but it wouldn't surprise me if in a few days/ weeks we start to know of someone heading our way.

I don't think so with a LOI. I think they can play, they just need to be released from their LOI from the other school.

The next move is obviously to play Edozie more.
What comes in my mind is Niang is gone after next year and we need a point guard under Morris so that he gets experience. honestly, I would look for another one like niang.
Next move? Sounds like Chicago....

ISU hired Tim Mannix as a graduate assistant in video editing and player development this past summer. Mannix had previously worked with Yakwe as a coach in the Team Scan AAU program in New York. Under NCAA legislation, programs that hire former AAU coaches to positions below that of an assistant coach position are unable to recruit players that staff member has worked with for two years. Yakwe moving to 2015 would be inside that window.
Why are people so negative on this place nowadays?
**** I had to sit through the McDermott years.
We sucked and we were boring. At least Morgan's teams were interesting.
I hate to see Custer go... cool name, needed a second true PG, probably had time coming his way if he developed, but being stuck behind Monte Morris has to be rough... but, hey, I'd rather the back-end of our roster turns over than the front end (no more Wesley Johnson incidents).
That would be the equivalent of Niang or Morris leaving NOT to go to the NBA.
And Fred isn't leaving. He's set for life in Ames and he knows it.
Some happy kittens to make us feel better...

I would imagine we are back in the market for some PG depth, either JUCO or transfer.

National signing day is April 15th for DI basketball. So, he's still fair game.
