Rick made a point to walk around Hilton well before tipoff, and stood and talked to a bunch of us in the student section two hours before game time. Thought that was very cool. I don't think he'll be at Texas much longer, but I really enjoy him as a person.

I like him, but I wouldn't call him classy. I can understand a fat guy not wanting to wear a suit, but at least put on a nice sweater. No need to wear the same warm up gear as the players when you are coaching.

Huggy may look like a scumbag and may play a brand of "basketball" that I can't stand, but he's a class act. The way he treated that player that went down in the final four cemented that for me. Plus, he may be brutally often sometimes, but he's been incredibly complimentary of ISU and Hoiberg.

In reality I think the most likely of the 3 to take the job is Shaka... I think he is finally realizing his potential at VCU..

Exactly. Because it's just as easy to recruit at Iowa as at Texas.

Because it's hoops, not football? The Big East is still a very strong conference, it's not like he'd be leaving for an A10 or Valley job.

I'd have to think that would be a pay cut though. Doesn't look like SJU has to report though so who knows. McD makes less than a million base at CU which I would compare to SJU (all things considered like COL, etc.).

Creighton also signed McD before they knew moving to the Big East would even be an option, so that's hardly a good comparison.
