Lets talk Burton. I don't really know much about his game, other than he is a freak dunker. At 6'4 240, I'm hoping he can be a Kane type player by bullying smaller guards. Those who know more about his game, what kind of player do you think he'll be?

Hogue, but better athlete. More athlete than basketball player. Definitely does not have the handle of Kane nor the motor of Hogue.

I wish people would stop comparing players to Deandre Kane. I realize you are not flat out saying you think he is like Kane, but just mentioning them in the same sentence can start to heighten expectations of others.

Not a great outside shot from what I have seen. But should be able to guard at least 3 positions and bully many people on the court.

Chances are no one on here really knows much more than what has been said.

He appears to be a great athlete. He's built like an NFL linebacker and can jump out of the gym.

Anything more is pure speculation

So are we to never compare an incoming players game to another player? That's just silly. I'm not saying he will be the next Kane, and I don't think many expect him to be. Saying player x is built like player y so seeing similarities in their game is not the same as saying, player x better be the next LeBron or he will be a disappointment.

He was not getting starters minutes for a bad Marquette University team, so he might have to work on his overall game.

Have a buddy that has seen him play, he says the guy is tough and athletic but isn't going to score a lot other than in transition.

It's just frustrating after the expectations that were put upon BDJ this past season.

So just saying if he is 6'4 240, he is shorter than Chris Babb and weighs almost as much as Royce White. I have a hard time envisioning those dimensions playing any position. Hoiberg can always utilize positionless players so I'm interested to see how this pans out. Maybe he will cut weight like Georges to be more effective as a perimeter player or maybe his length will translate more towards the post?

He doesn't have weight to cut. It appears to me he's a cut 240.
