No big deal, I just think that it is kind of mean. And for whatever reason, our fans kind of take what Georges does for granted. How many times did I read on here during the season that Georges just wasn't as good this year or that Georges wasn't having a good year. It seems as though the coaches that played against him thought he was pretty damn good and so did the All-American voters.

I think most of us realize that he is a really really good COLLEGE player.

KU fans are like that with Ellis too. Truth is both teams need the production, leadership and stability of those players big time.

While I understand why some people doubt Georges playing at the next level he's someone I would not count out.

Exactly. And it just seemed stupid to have on this thread several people act like the idea of him leaving was crazy. Why not just be happy that we have a player who COULD consider leaving and decided to come back?

...if Niang left, that's all the more info I would need to know that point shaving occurred, or the mob was involved, or both.

I'm glad Georges is coming back, but it would be crazy if he left right now. It's been debated many times on here that his position in the NBA is in question.

My guess is their to-do list is 3-peat the tourney and Final Four.

Defense is on the docket.

Oooooh how long until the season starts?

Don't forget about winning the Big12 regular season title - I think that is high on the list of "to-do"s. We really must end the KU streak!

You must be talking about the people that think all of our guys are going to be first rounders and leave school early. Agreed that they know next to nothing about the NBA.

While all of us knew Georges was coming back, I don't think it's unreasonable for a national sportswriter to ask the question of anyone who is on an All American team.

Not everyone. There are a lot of knowledgeable posters that do their homework and don't talk out of their rear end.
