I thought that at first too, but he did manage do get three NY recruits his last three years at IHCC. Hogue and Washington being two of them.

CFH said that he and Henry stay up late at night watching film and watching NBA games to scheme plays. He's certainly being built to be an X and O's guy.

NYC hasn't worked out that well for us anyway.

It's probably easier to recruit a kid from Chicago or Texas to Ames (B12), than it is to get a guy from the Bronx anyway.

I thought TJ left to a) get more experience under another guy to hep him become a head coach and b) to move closer to the pacific coast so Allison could be closer to Australia. Seems like him coming back to ISU would defeat that completely.

Honestly, ISU needs a known recruiter more than an X's and O's guy.

They really really do. Current remaining staff does not set the world on fire. Usually recruiters get the offers to move.
