Somebody came to play!! Nice pull! I had the little Bogey orangutan stuffed animal from Hardee's for years (also loved the Smurfs drinking glasses). I'm pretty sure I also gave out Shirttails valentines in 1st grade.

I think it was!! I used to turn it over after Betty Lou and the House with the Magic Window!
Magic Window rocked! What did she say, open the curtain, turn down the lights, start the projector or something like that, and then we got the cartoon!
Not gonna bring Floppy into this, as that show is the holy grail for us Iowa kids growing up and I don't want to make it seem like it was just another show...But why did the man put the car in the oven?
He was. It was the story of a rambunctious young bear and his father (Gus, I think). I'm pretty sure they went and joined the circus after Kissyfur's mom died, and lived in either a swamp or a tree.
Wait - Kissyfur, Shirttails, and Gummi Bears all lived in trees. That seems a little odd.
Hmm...this is getting off track...but not really...how about the Muppet Babies? I thought they were the best.
not to go off topic on the off topic thread, but this is my celebratory 100th post! Been a member since the night McDermott's press conference back in March of 2006, and just now getting there. Such a slacker...
YES!! It was always a crapshoot as to what cartoon it was going to be (I loved Felix, but sometimes you got that rabbit with the plaid ears).
I loved Floppy. Saw him a few times in person - and I think that man wanted a HOT ROD!!!!
I still watch Muppet Babies if it's on! :wink:
It always bothered me that you couldn't see the mother figure's face on Muppet Babies. It was always the 2 legs that talked.
Perhaps the animators couldn't draw adults :wink:. That show was great, and I think it was a whole hour.
I just always loved when Beeker came over to visit. My high school computer teacher looked remarkably like him.
I used to watch Garfield & Friends when I was little, but it hasn't aged super-well.
I enjoyed the Garfield cartoons, but the US Acres cartoon that they showed after the Garfied cartoon took a couple of years for me to enjoy.
I loved the US Acres stuff - what was the name of the duck who wore the inner tube around his waist with his own head on it? Wade, I think? He was cool, but my favorite was the egg that just walked around because it didn't want to hatch.
I was always a big fan of Ducktales as well. EVERY day after school! I got off the bus just in time...
