Personally I would add Georges to that fifth spot. That team needs some height and defense.

First NBA team to ever go through an entire season without winning a game. Would be an impressive accomplishment.

It's in a great position for next year but it's in a pretty bad one for 2016. I don't think that matters but it's not like we are locked and loaded for two years.

I don't know that we know we are in a great position next season if Fred doesn't return. What if Monte left? We would freak out. Fred is more important than Monte. I'm not convinced some other can come in and coach us to a Big 12 title. Or Final Four. That will be the most disappointing part if Fred leaves now. I don't buy the "leaving the cupboard full" analogy. Imo, that makes it much worse. Because I'll likely spend the rest of my life wondering "what if Fred had stayed one more year???"

i absolutely don't know, and didn't believe Ramos knew much when that thread started, but a
l the other pieces clearly showed what may be happening.....looking back, you really believe Ramos was just rambling and being an ***, without much knowledge?! You think he wasn't hearing that recruits were not being given Fred's word he would be here for sure next year? Add it up......doesn't matter at the end of the day, we all ( the ones who saw it and the ones that lived in denial ) appear to be getting exactly what we did not want....

I choose not to worry about the things I can't control. Less stress

Bulls starting line up according to 3suz (he just PM'd me)

Royce White
Melvin Ejim
Monte Morris
Doug Mcderpmat
Leave the 5th spot open

Butler and Rose off the bench.

If all of ISU's players for this next season decide to enter the draft so they can still play for the Hoiberg, who do we cheer for?

Now that I've started speculating that, I've even more worried about what seed and region ISU's going to get in March.

Life is hard.

Stop it man, use your eyes already, the clues are there! The Bulls knew all along they would want to part with Thibodeau THIS summer after last years playoffs, so grand meister Gar Forman set the plan in motion to acquire Hoiberg, which sent Jamie to tell TJ last summer that he wanted him to join the staff at the end of THIS season, but as soon as he joined Fred would leave and he would be promoted to head coach. It's all so blindingly obvious!!!!!11

No, more likely Pollard is a smart man. He had a short list in case Fred would leave and he kept his top choice close so if the time came he would make a move. When pollard figured out or was told that things could move this year Pollard and Hoiberg mutually decide that Otz would be a good fit in case Hoiberg jumps as it provides some stability. Pollard knows the fan base isn't going to be excited about ANYONE after the Mayor and almost every other potential coach knows this too. He brings in Otz whom he's stayed close with on a one year contract knowing with the team we have returning he will likely have a good enough record to make the 5 year contract he gives him next year palatable to the fan base.
