CyTwins and I heard (almost) the exact same rumors at the end of last week and I highly doubt the people we heard the rumors are the same so there was smoke last week. Maybe time (weekend with family, child's high school graduation) and meeting with JP (rumored to be happening today) will change his mind.

CyTwins and I aren't coming on here and deliberately lying. That would be ridiculous and grounds for a ban.

Congrats. I posted over a month ago all the pieces put together ( as did JSB, although in a frantic way) pointed to this happening...doesn't mean anything until officially announced, and whether members were right or wrong, we all lose out on this one...

JP also rejected Hoiberg when he first asked for the job and hired McDermott instead (JP has even said this on many occasions). I like Pollard, but feel like he was extremely lucky. We were so far up s*it creek that he decided to finally give Hoiberg a chance after McDoormat left. Had a hire slightly better than McDoormat been made, Fred may not be here right now. He rejected Fred before getting so desperate that he had no other choice. JP really didn't want Fred coaching. Now Fred has saved him for the gigantic mistake of what he's done with Rhoads and his outrageous deal.

If this whole situation turns into a chance to bash JP that will be unbelievably frustrating. When Pollard actually did hire Fred, he had enough heat from people who didn't think it was the right move. There's no way fans support hiring Fred back when McDermott was hired.

I feel TJ was brought back to be the next man in!

Then again Fred should wait 2 years to take the Sixers job they are going to be young and loaded!!

Or more evidence of who's not recovering from major heart surgery and making public appearances that are open to media.

He didn't say "let's not get excited about rumors." He said, "we all need to stick together through this." I swear, when there is finally a press conference some of you will still think it's just part of the plan to stay at ISU while Fred is standing in front of an NBA logo.

TJ recruits the kind of players Hoiberg has been successful with ... in fact you could argue it was TJs guys Fred has been running with.

Interestingly ... IMO the kind of guys TJ was recruiting didn't fit the philosophy McDermott wanted to play.

Big jump with no head coaching experience though!

I think Fred is long gone, but this quote from TJ isn't "evidence" of that and that is the matter at hand.

You posted every single minute thing as "proof" of Fred leaving. (Luckily jsb embarrassed herself to take the heat off of you.) Just because Fred leaves doesn't mean you were correct in your grand conspiracy "See, it's all coming together," posts.

Some people have said Fred would leave for the NBA likely the Bulls, Wolves, or Pacers since he got the ISU job.
