CyTwins and I heard (almost) the exact same rumors at the end of last week and I highly doubt the people we heard the rumors are the same so there was smoke last week. Maybe time (weekend with family, child's high school graduation) and meeting with JP (rumored to be happening today) will change his mind.

CyTwins and I aren't coming on here and deliberately lying. That would be ridiculous and grounds for a ban.
But everything we have heard does contradict what you said. Can you admit your source either wasn't very good or there was bad intel floating around and they repeated to you a run of the mill rumor that half of us heard?

Actually it does.... It was pretty easy to spot for those not wearing their "Cyclone Fanatic" blinders... Not a conspiracy at all, just not heard to read between the lines. Go back and read some of those threads, including your comments, and see who looks like a fool.

If the Bulls knocked off Cleveland, this thread probably wouldn't exist today. Sure, the Bulls' GarPax might have forced Thibs out if the Bulls won a championship, however it was hardly "proof" a month ago. The rumors have serious heat now that the Bulls got eliminated, in embarrassing fashion. Without this critical piece of evidence, simple things like MA going back home and Paige going to KU are hardly "proof." TJ coming back (excluding Romar quote) was the only plausible thing to start some smoke.

The big difference here is that Snyder is the ONLY coach to make KSU football actually relevant; they were garbage for decades before he came aboard and they were garbage during his retirement. ISU has had plenty of on-court success without Hoiberg.

lolno.

He is now an ISU Hero.

"Remember kid, Heroes live forever, but Legends never die."

Imagine an olympic gymnast who does an amazing, beautiful performance. However, on the dismount he slips and falls flat on his face.

No one will care that he gave an amazing performance, everyone will talk about how he ate **** on the dismount.

In case I wasn't clear, the dismount was getting spanked by UAB when 98% of the nation had us moving on.

Not sure what you mean by plenty

ISU has made the Sweet Sixteen under each of its previous four head coaches. Kansas State football, on the other hand, suffered losing records in 45 of the previous 50 seasons before Snyder was hired in 1989. They had losing records in two of Prince's three seasons and went 7-6 in the other.

Bill Snyder is the 1-in-a-million hire for Kansas State football, literally the only coach to have sustained success of any degree since the Great Depression (and his success went far beyond any other KSU coach). Hoiberg is a great coach, but ISU basketball without Hoiberg in the past wasn't even remotely KSU football pre-Snyder.

Congrats. I posted over a month ago all the pieces put together ( as did JSB, although in a frantic way) pointed to this happening...doesn't mean anything until officially announced, and whether members were right or wrong, we all lose out on this one...
anyone really paying attention saw the writing on the wall. JSB was likely right about much of what she said and will deserve apologies from many. She was also very wrong about others likely. Bottom line is Dandy and Twins have already been proven wrong and no matter what they will claim to be right. Classic fortune tellers.

I know people like to pretend the eras of Chewbacca and to a lesser extent Carl Winslow didn't happen, but lolno

I never used the word "proof" and never referenced Paige (although that makes sense now) nor Matt leaving due to this....But if you think we lost out on Williams and Diallo (not a shoe in at that point, but we got booted from the running) only because Matt left, and not because Fred would not give them his word he would be coach in 2016, I question how you and Rholtgraves find your way home at night...

For some reason I feel like this sums up Fred right now, or anytime he would make the move to the NBA
