No, this was our own Blazer that did it to me....hmmmm...both GM products. And believe me, I'm going to have a gnarly scar on each side of my nail. There goes my dream of being a hand model.

Fingers in doors give me the willys because of an almost bad finger accident decades again. I was closing the door in the bathroom of my house and felt some resistance when trying to fully close the door. Fortunately I stopped and looked. My friend's little toddler Natalie had followed me and put her fingers in the door jam on the hinge side. Her fingers had a big crease on them between the 2nd and 3rd knuckles where the door had tried to shut on them. So close to literally crushing or breaking her fingers against the door stop. Still gives me the creeps thinking about it, that deep indent, the look and than the tears.

Thought I was almost out of paper towels last week so bought an 8pk. Went to put them away (space I store the ones I'm using next--which only hold 4 rolls) and saw another 1/2 open pack on a garage shelf. Walking back and forth to the grill and I see another 1/2 open pack on a different shelf. Guess we have enough paper towels now. And yes, I am single handedly trying to kill all the trees.

That same scenario happened to me a couple of years ago, sure makes you feel like crap! Luckily there was no serious injury in my case, either.

Really? I never saw it, but thought it looked ******* awful. I'm also not really a Seth McFarlanne fan at all though.
I'm a fan of dumb humor so it works for me. It's also a cloudy day so being in the mancave watching bad movies isn't all that awful.

Yeah, I can't really say why I don't like him. I like dumb humor. I love Mel Brooks and he made a legendary career out of it. Just can't get into Seth.

I watched Zombeaver on Netflix yesterday. If you're into really stupid but enjoyable movies, I found that one entertaining.

I was convinced you meant to type ZombieLand until I googled Zombeaver

Took advantage of the cool morning to finish up mulching our plant beds. What started as 8 bags of cypress mulch turned into 30 of mulch and 4 bags of river rock.

Seriously, last f'ing time I do that. Next year, I'm paying someone to put down river rock around the whole frigging house.

woof, bad idea to read some of those bball threads.

Got DH to go through the clothes pile that's been sitting since college and probably sat for most of college as well. We had fun watching him try on jeans shorts and light wash blue jeans. Not a great look, lol. About to have a third large bag to take to Goodwill, which is great. Jeans are heavy.

It's deductible that ****, cowgirl...it amazed me how much I got to deduct for old clothes.

We have two or three garbage bags full of goodwill clothes. We need to get our inner CG on and make a spreadsheet of it all before taking them in.

Have them lay down landscaping cloth underneath and that will pretty much take care of weeding also. Alternative is keep some Roundup handy and spray anything that doesn't belong there.
