CW mentioned in a tweet yesterday one of the saddest things to see was the "cannibalization of Iowa State fans".

Good term to use...and yes, very sad.

I don't think most ISU fans would even taste good at this point...very bitter, and chewy from all the constant abuse.

Before my workout I saw Pants had some work trouble. Did it finally turn into him deciding to move to Omaha or not?

Not work trouble. Just a change it work that isn't even necessarily a negative, but causes less loyalty to who I work for.

55 won't respond to my messages for some reason on if she'd move in with me if I bought a place there.

Talked about Hoiberg with my wife over dinner. She is sad she never got a picture with him. On the bright side she did confirm I am back to being the best looking guy in the state!

Using my sister's scanner to digitize some old slides. Found some I took at ISU/Nebraska game at Hilton's first MBB season in 1972. Scoreboard, we won!

Also Clyde Sands running the track at Clyde Williams. Olympic team guy from the Bahamas IIRC.

Will post these later this summer after the meltdown is complete and there is room for old ISU sports history stuff.

He would have been 16 on July 6th. We knew he would not be around for long. We adopted him at 15, after he spent at least 2 years at the shelter. Part of the reality you have to be prepared for after adopting a senior cat.

Retiring my #32 jersey. It was a good run, thanks for the good times. Now I have to root against you Fred. Cleveland has become my home. I've fully embraced this city and everything good and bad that comes with it.

So with the Pants dog to Hawaii saga:

I'm really going through an internal struggle right now. Riley stresses out incredibly easy. To the point where his temp will increase three to five degrees just from the stress he gets when going to the vet. So, despite all of the money I've spent for him to come here, I'm really internalizing if I should do it to him. Flying 12 hours like that will potentially be life traumatizing to him. And he's happy with my mom, where he's treated well and has a huge yard to run around with. I almost feel like bringing him here would be completely selfish of me to put him through that just so I've got him, especially when there's a chance he could have to go through it again in a year or two if I were to decide to move.

I know many will think I'm over analyzing this, but I'm sure some of the pet lovers here will understand what I'm going through.
